Right Opportunity. Right Growth.

Doing a remarkable job is directly related to the depth and diversity of an interpreter’s experience.

Access offers a one-of-a-kind DC experience.

Our Traveling Interpreter Program allows sign language interpreters from all over the U.S. to experience the work and culture unique to the Nation’s Capital.

How it Works

Arranging to do work in the Nation’s Capital is quick and easy.

1. Complete Screening

Our screening process relies on state-of-the-art technology to provide presentations by native ASL and native English users for you to record a sample of your interpreting work. This self-service process allows you to complete our skill assessment from the convenience of your own home at a time that works best for you!

2. Book Days

We guarantee at least 30 hours a week between the hours of
8:00am – 5:30pm ET. Our schedulers will work with you to maximize your time working and seeing the sights.

3. Schedule Work

We take your preferences and interests into consideration when placing you on assignments. Some of the environments you are likely to see are business, government, medical, and higher education.

4. Maximize Your Time Working & Sightseeing

Come enjoy the work that is uniquely DC and take opportunity to visit the Smithsonian, the National Mall, or even take a scenic drive to Mt. Vernon. Wherever you work, there will be something to see nearby.
